A cloudy and increasingly mild night with light rain and drizzle, accompanied by  hill fog, arriving during the early hours. The fog lifted around 0830 and since then it's been cloudy with intermittent rain and drizzle.

A morning of patchy light rain slowly turning wetter and windier. In the peak district this morning showery rain increasing breeze

A much better than forecast but still a damp winters day. A few short bursts of heavier rain but other mostly light with dry spells in-between. Briefly threatened to turn windy on a couple occasions just after lunch and again mid afternoon but winds soon eased back again

Mild,cloudy to start with showers increasing to rain but the heavy rain forcast didn't materialise unless it turns up later,showery later,Windy and strong winds at times,max 11 deg,min 4 deg
