Its not quite as bad as last night, but all the roads into two are still closed, though one of them could be open to get in and out of town (shut for traffic control reasons)

Never did reach the historic peak of 5.25 topping out at 4.88 but thats bad enough.... going to take a few days to clear, and to be hones the situation of concern has moved down to Ironbridge where they have a Severe Flood Warning and it might overtop the barriers before 10pm tonight...

So what idiocy will we see today. Shorts and Tshirted hikers rescued from Snowdon. People being washed into the sea in Newquay whilst taking selfies.....with a dozen surfers in the backgroun

One hell of an atmospheric river of moisture upstream across the Atlantic all the way from Bahamas   Looks ominous and indeed models are indicating another wave of heavy rain to move in toni

Very good update this morning from Dave Throup at the Env agency. manager for Herefordshire and Worcestershire. About Ironbridge, Upton, Bewdley and Worcester. Here we are on Weds, fifth day after the arrival of Storm Dennis and still the peak of some river levels to come for a few places well down stream. Yellow warnings for rain later today and tomorrow.
