Variable amounts of cloud overnight with showers moving in from the north west after midnight. One heavy shower with thunder and snow, giving a temporary covering of 1cm around 3.45 a.m. One or two brief, light showers this morning but most of the day has been dry with sunny intervals. A NW gale this morning but the wind has decreased a bit this afternoon.
