Hmm...as most of the UK's wealth is held by the over 50s, who still contribute £BNs to the Chancellor's coffers through taxes, which in turn helps fund the NHS and the Welfare State, i somehow think the contributor is talking absolute rubbish.

Turn off the revenue taps and you'll see a huge revenue shortfall.

Not to mention it is also one of their key voting demographics.

Couldn't even get any soap in Lidl last week!

Plenty of soap bars in poundland.  Paracetamol/Ibuprofen shelves looked like a tornado had passed through though xD ?️

we will probably see quite a large amount of deaths as health services will start to struggle.

This is exactly why I prefer to believe I'm taking a 'proactive' role in dealing with My families/My health over the period?

We've seen enough Units sailing close to posting the 'Black Alert' over the past winter & that without and 'Sudden period of influx' of seriously ill Patients?

With staff undergoing the same level of infection as the general population what do folk really expect?

We continued to 'vote' for the National Health Service we now enjoy (but mainly, I think?, because we 'Never needed to access it' before?) and now we will see just how well it copes?

None of what we now face should come as a shock to anyone?

Just read the first 15 pages of this thread for a start!

None of it is 'Hidden Knowledge' and so was always there to be perused and mused at our leisure?

And, in the meantime, Darlington's supermarkets have completely sold out of loo rolls!

When I was growing up we had bidet no toilet rolls.. I have no problem with having to wash my a**e off in the shower if I have to and I've explained that to my missus and children they'll probably have to do the same.

Breaking Total Cases Has Risen To 442 From 262 Denmark just 24 hours ago

Oh dear another analog that has shot up like Netherlands. If we can make it to the weekend without a large jump it will be a miracle.

I think phase 2 (delay) is coming very soon in this country, might as well get ahead of the inevitable at this point.

Despite a decent budget, FTSE still down 1.4% at the moment, Dow Jones still destroying all of its gains on the Trump years, currently down 5%.

I heard reports earlier today that Lombardy increase in cases alone maybe in the region of 1500, so Italy maybe about to report a 2000+ day...but obviously these are unconfirmed. Either way a large increase in deaths for sure.

Dr Fauci of the WH Taskforce to combat the virus was giving evidence at a hearing on Capitol Hill .

It ended abruptly after GOP law makers suddenly had a host of engagements they had to get to .

Apparently he told them between 75 and 150 million Americans would eventually contract the virus .

It’s not clear whether this was over several waves over the next few years . You’d think it would be . Still quite a shock to see that many .

The Chinese government have some nerve. The World is very greatful...

Speaking Friday, Wang Zhonglin, party chief of Wuhan, the virus-hit capital of Hubei province, said that people in the city -- much of which remains on lockdown -- were not appreciative enough.

It is necessary, Wang reportedly said, "to carry out gratitude education among the citizens of the whole city, so that they thank (President Xi Jinping), thank the Chinese Communist Party, heed the party, walk with the party, and create strong positive energy."

Nice that we can vote what we think at the end of the day.  Does the same apply if you have a Chinese take away?

So, what exactly are "mild symptoms"? Genuine Q.

Does the term cover all bases, so to speak, of mild symptoms?

Mild - will even those with mild symptoms still get a dry cough?

Will they still get a fever?

Runny nose?

Anyone truthfully know?

I don't know, but do want to. I'm hoping it's not just a head ache. Mind you just stopped taking codeine after my opp so could be that.
