The fog cleared by 1000 and the rest of the morning was dry and cloudy. Intermittent rain arrived shortly after midday, most of it light, but in the last 10 minutes there's been a short spell of torrential rain and small hail. A windy day with the southerly wind increasing to gale force this afternoon.
