Its Saturday the 8th of February, and I've just cut my lawns for the first time since Halloween!

Seen our first daffodils in bloom. The general tide of crocuses and daffs look set to come out this weekend. When can I cut the grass? It needs doing but always wet.

Because of the crappy mild winter (thank you climate change), I want a nice decent spring. I actually want a Rhianna summer aka 2007 as I don't like heat ;)

My lawns desperately need cutting, but its just too wet and the longer the grass gets the longer it will take to dry sufficiently arghhh...

There has been an explosion of cherry blossom on the trees locally this last couple of days and it is early this year possible portend of what is to come I wonder?

Ah, so that's what the white leaves on my tree in my back garden are!

Hawthorn hedges coming into leaf along the roadsides today and hedge sparrows busy nesting during the week ( collecting fur brushed out of our labs coat and left out for the birds)

Much much too wet and cold wind most of time is stalling early spring even down in the valleys.

As we enter Spring the main thing i want to see is an anti-cyclone. While i do not dislike stormy weather March is the time at which sunny weather becomes nice weather.

Current modelling is very cyclonic as March goes.

I'll go with: just about scraping 20°C in London area on March 20th.

Still looks like early spring with some trees blossoming, plus the sun is rapidly increasing in strength.

I think 20c will be reached by early April, and possibly 24c by April 15th.

I don’t think we will see 30c being reach until 20th of June, and this is where it all goes downhill guys. That will be the warmest day of the year.

July and August will both fail to reach 23c, and be cloudier than normal. I feel there’s a poor summer in the offing this year.

Much like sunny I think a mild and wet first half of March will have way to a warm, dry, sunny and settled second half of March and first half of April before a cooler and wetter second half of April and first half May.

On that basis the 20th March-10th April is late enough to produce I think we can crack both 20C and 25C although 25C won’t be broken again until late May.

20C - 20th March

25C - 10th April

30C - 20th June

35C - Not reached

I don't think that is actually possible.
