Mostly sunny and warm here today though it did cloud over later. Max of 20.7C. Only our 8th day over 20C since beginning of July. Three made it to 21C. Tomorrow maybe again +20C but then an Easterly element in the wind at the weekend might be enough to keep us cooler here.

A high of 21.3C, sunny and above 18C most of the day, can't complain about that really. It did get a bit breezy in the afternoon but that was only a minor niggle.

Good to have summer back.

Max of 22c with bountiful sunshine and a decent enough breeze sufficient to keep all of the flies away whilst working outside.

Gorgeous sunset as well, perfect backdrop for the evening walk with friends.

If that wind would just die down it would be a decent day here even though the cloud hasn't melted away as I thought it would. Temperature sitting between 22/23c and gusts between 2 and 9km/hr. At least it's dry I suppose.  Spoke to a client earlier who is down near Laurencekirk and he had wall to wall sunshine, and it does look to be brighter to the south.

Oh well, it'll soon be gin o'clock and I'll be on holiday for the next two weeks so fingers crossed for decent weather in that time.

Very windy and cloudy here. Started off well but went downhill.

Husband's heart is ok but he is very low in iron, maybe getting an infusion.

No stout today but did have beer, cider, gin and wine before a heavy shower split up our socially distanced street get together this evening. Max today of 21.8C with sunny intervals and a couple of showers. Clearer and feeling fresher now at 17.3C.

Mainly overcast day but still managed to reach a very respectable 22c.

Dry until 7pm when there was a short but very sharp shower.

Strong SW wind for most of the day.

16c outside at the moment and feeling very humid.

Not often you see thunderstorm advance warnings over two days for this area - mind you, the Met Office forecaster seems to have gone mad with the highlighter and just covered everything...

Once this current crud clears through there might be a bit of stormy fun later - hopefully a walk up my local hill will be required.

This looks tasty for 17:00.

The hill walk was not required - got a twenty minutes downpour from this and that was it!

Monday/Tuesday is looking very lively - precipitation charts to be taken with a pinch of salt at this range of course! These will change about twenty times before the days in question arrive.

If none of us get a storm from all of this I give up on Summer 2020!

Edit: @Mair Snaw great result tonight!

Have a good weekend everyone.

Beautiful sunny day here, still windy but not as bad as last few days. When is my thunder and lightning coming.

Lovely start to the day and my holiday, sat in the garden having a late breakfast with fairly clear skies and the thermometer reading 23c.

Once the grass has dried a bit more, I'll get the mower out and then do some garden work for the rest of the day...make hay while the sun shines!

Cloud cover has increased in the last hour. Wind has picked up a bit. Very warm still.

21.4 & 21.8°C yesterday and today, but such a different feel. Cloudy and muggy yesterday, whilst fresh and sunny today. Got jobs done including the always pleasant chicken coop mucking out.

Finn just back from the vets with the cone of shame after the op to remove his crown jewels. Aww.
