Snowing properly here now as the area of heavier precip moves in.  That has been  one of the problems as we've only received 3mm of sleet from the entire front, if it had been rain I'm sure that would not have been the case...!

Hey Guys....GUYS!!! I just looked out the window and guess what? Light rain only. 2.2c. Sighs deeply. XC tells me I'll have about 15cm of SNAW on Friday. I wonder what noxious substances their forecasters are partaking of these days. ☁

It looked like a good start, -1c at 08:00 and then some graupel started at 08:30.

As ever with this winter, a false start as temperature is now 0.2c and raining lightly so round here it looks like you need 200m+ to get anything.

Let's see how the day progresses.

Getting annoying now, moderate rain for nearly an hour and temperature keeps rising - 1.9c at the moment.

Snow here but isn't settling, ground very wet. Radar suggests there will be little intensity and won't last long - all the good action was in NE England earlier I think

Very latest in hi-res sat pics I've just captured from Meteor M-N2 satellite. It went right over mu house

Basically the UK is under all this cloud. If you get rain or snow it's in that clump for sure.

Some sleet and snow at home, not amounting to much. Snow line for lying snow on way to work was about 160 metres, but even then it was very slushy.
