It's already turned to snow in the higher roads further west.

I'll always have a soft spot for this webcam  Alan from winterhighland did all the networking but I drilled the holes through the walls of the hotel, ran the cabling and fitted the camera to just under the upstairs eaves.

Gosh. I'm starting to get jealous now.

Everywhere in Scotland has seen at least one snow event, while here in the SE, I at least haven't even had a sleet event!

Come on now, at least pass some snow to the SE. You know what they say, sharing is caring!

Down to 1.9C overnight so everything just wet. Snow was billowing down before bed, and looking around at dawn on my drive into Edinburgh, I'd say it's hills above 300m that are white.

Haven't seen anything here either (Bellshill).  Not a single event.

Heavy sleet on here though temp showing as 4C. Overnight heavy sleet and rain showers with a bit of snow in the heavier bits  first thing this morning. Nowhere near sticking down here though.

Evening all!

Cracking day again for wintry showers - only thing lacking has been thunder and lightning!

Love when it clears through and you get the bright white glow from the mountains - oh snow how you are missed on low ground this Winter!

Evening all,

Came home to similar conditions as @Kirkcaldy Weather was reporting. Missed the showers, too busy at work!

Sunday night was certainly the wildest here in terms of high winds, some minor damage and gusts must have been 70mph here on the coast (Tay Bridge was closed for a while).

Got out for a walk on the Fife Coastal Path on Saturday, was glad to have the wind at my back! Even spotted a few bedraggled, wind blown daffodils.

Had some snow here earlier but didn't lie. The shepherd up the road starts lambing at the end of this month and we usually get a lot of snow then.

I stayed there with wifey a fair few years ago so always check in on the webcam.

That pink fairy of @Zak M is quite disturbing.... does it need a hug?

What?

It's my profile picture because it's cute and because it's from one of the channels that I watched my first ever YouTube videos on when I was about 6/7 years old and it takes me back to my childhood.

It is also from a channel that wasn't popular back then but is quite popular now, bet no one can guess

Sorry for being off topic!

Quite a lively weather front looks like it will impact Scotland on Friday, and has the possibility of dumping some heavy snow in places.

Those "places" will be mountains / highest ground unfortunately

Depends on what the temperature is and when the front moves in. If the front is more during the day then yes - there will only be snow on higher ground. If it moves in at night however - then it might not just be on the hills!

Fair amount of the white stuff above 200m this morning. Driving fine if a bit slushy in places. Still lots of flooding, and one of the worst sections of the A701 above Skirling has an enormous pot hole in the middle of a long stretch of flooding that took out the whole wheel of a car. Temporary traffic lights installed... Quite a bow wave at 15mph!
