After lots of snaw falling but not really settling earlier in the week, we've had this little lot since 9pm last night. 30 year monthly average for February is 79.1mm.

This 'wonter' can do one.

Been raining hard since at least 9am and the wind is pretty gusty now, I'd say to a similar level as last weekend.

The puddle in my lawn is the biggest it's been all winter. I will need to look at putting in more drainage in the summer.

Lots of flooding on the roads reported locally.

Absolutely disgusting. Persistent heavy sploshy rain in a gale. Easily the worst weather I have walked my dog in in the 12 months I've had him.

Roads flooded too - main A701 into Broughton has merged withe the raging burn that runs alongside to form a river. Tweed Valley 300m wide flooded. No wonder they put DENNIS on the front of fire engines.

I wasn't going to post as I have no words to adequately describe the weather today! 'Not that windy' is probably as positive as it gets!

Small squall line passing through here now with heavy pea sized hail.

Yup, the bottom of the line just passed through here.

We had a few minutes of unusually heavy rain a short while ago. I'm quite glad it was brief, it was the sort of rain that tests my 100 year old slate roof!

No cats here to help describe the weather, probably just as well. Been blowy since this morning, didn't start raining until early afternoon but it's on with a vengeance now. Pretty much standard Scottish winter weather though, nothing particularly noteworthy.

Spent this afternoon in the garage making a frame for a greenhouse I'm going to build onto the L-shaped external wall at the junction of the house and garage. Won't be huge but better, hopefully, than the plastic 'greenhouses' that I've been using. Could still see my breath in the garage, which I'm sure was colder inside than it was outside.

Well we have ben very fortunate today with only some heavy showers but with some ferocious gusts. A day for just feeding and strawing down the cattle. Currently 3.5c

One of the most boring storms i've encountered so far, nothing more than a blustery wet day.Hopefully tomorrow is a bit more interesting...

Cloudy all day and pretty mild with a max of 8c.

Academic though as felt bitter in the strong wind, peak gusts being around 2pm.  Rain off and on all day, torrential at times but not as bad as further south.

Looks like a nice sunny day tomorrow, just a rather keen breeze to contend with

Seems windier now than it’s been all day.

Noticed that too, it went from a bit breezy to very blustery with frequent gusts into the 50s in just a few minutes at about 2am.It was almost like a squall line was passing but there was no rain...
