As so often happens here the supposed rain has been vastly overplayed by the forecasters. Met office had heavy rain symbol with 90 percent chance now for the same time cloud symbol and 10 percent chance. This happens slot here in spring and summer.

A drop of rain earlier but not nearly enough to wet the ground. A nice breeze out too.

After that wonderful day yesterday, it was still 17.9c at 3am, dropping to a low of 15c at 5:30am

Now 16.3c, with a light grey sky.
Felt a very slight bit of drizzle around 7am, but nothing at all to register.
SW wind has picked up since 5am, 12-18mph and plenty of 20-24mph gusts.

My Met app has gone from the odd shower for tomorrow to a low % chance of showers all day.

All courtesy of this trough, which we might catch.

Don't mind either way. Could do with some rain though. This morning's amounted to nothing, as expected.

Then we're in good shape again for next week by the looks of it.

A few small pots over in the garden, but thankfully nothing compared to the NE'ly at the start of the month, as the garden is shielded quite well from south / westerly winds.

Got to 20.1°C at: 13:52.. have to say the house feels much fresher now.

Yeah, I nailed our rusty bunnies down after that NE'ly.

We're going to try to sit out later. It is blowing a bit, but we'll give it a go.

No rain here last night, just a cloudy morning. The sun came out during the early part of the afternoon but it clouded over again later on. Also quite windy all day. Reached 17.3°C, currently 13.9°C

Unless we catch a heavy shower then the dry spell will continue until goodness knows when.

Had a pointless shower at 06.00 on Thursday, an equally pointless 5 minutes of light rain early yesterday and another pointless brief shower half an hour ago.

Very gusty all night and ongoing this morning.

Looks like our first shower of the day is about to rattle through.

The previous one missed us, but got the Peregrine chicks at the top of the Cathedral.

These powerful birds of prey have made the Cathedral their home.

Showers doing a brilliant job of missing here, which is annoying as some of them look pretty intense.

As noted above  by Matt, the showers are avoiding the coastal fringe at the moment, and it is windy compared to of late. Currently 17.2°C with the wind in from the WSW at 20mph and a slow pressure rise.

A gust of 40mph not long ago - strongest since mid March. Looks and feels so much windier when the trees are in full leaf.
