Cooler today by almost 3°C, having peaked at 19.4°C at: 11:31, so cloud build up now taking the edge off the warmth..

@Mapantz Yep, as note I just posted we have some blocking out of the sun, it appears Wareham forest is on fire..

It's a huge fire in Wareham forest. They've got crews from all over Dorset, over 100 firefighters in attendance. Today's wind hasn't helped.

That's to the North of me, so it's blowing it ENE. I can smell it now, too.

Wonderful sunshine and blue skies, a little light cloud cover earlier today, just gorgeous.
Got to 18.9c around 1pm.
It is now 17.3c.
WSW wind has been 12-5mph through the day, with a number of 18-20mph gusts.

Bournemouth airport reporting 18C & Smoke....from a large fire in Wareham. Currently ash falling out the sky on the Poole/Bournemouth border and the whole sky is brown.

I think we have been so spoilt by sunny days that we forget the usual default of morning low cloud from East, West or South.
