Hit 25C just before the sun turned hazy. More needless high cloud around now.

Peaked 25.1°C at: 12:32, been hazy this PM. Hoping the cooler weather might drive the starlings away, they are driving me nutz, having been here for a week or more. The noise is continual, until they disappear and go to sleep, and every other bird leaves the area. Can't wait until the little ones are ready to leave...

Tomorrow’s going to be fascinating. Still in the warm air through until early afternoon so predicted temperatures of 17c to 18c then dropping away to 11c by 16.00 when on a normal day that would be the warmest time. Shame it’s going to be a boring transition.

A lovely day of sunshine.
Midday was 24.6c
It is still 20c.
Shame the day temp will drop to mid teens next week and a few lows of 5-8c earlier in the week.

25.6°C max. The high cloud that developed mid afternoon has cleared to leave a sunny, warm evening.. just a little below 20°C right now at 19.7°C...

Felt pretty humid this afternoon and had that 'storm' feel in the air, especially when it turned hazy.

Might squeeze 17/18 in before the colder air arrives tomorrow.. although looks cloudy and looks like the winds pick up around lunchtime.

Well the big cool down yet to show it’s hand here. 17.7c in hazy sun. Some rain lurking offshore but looks like it’s fizzling out.

Could really do with a storm in the Southwest. Getting bored of watching the radar and seeing it all fizzle out over North of France.

A cloudy day, but warmer than I expected, 17.6c

Noticed the forecasts for us as well as the cooler low for some days next week of 6c, there are stronger winds up to 40mph midday Monday.

It’s all to do with the timing of the cold front. Until a few days ago it was predicted to move through overnight so the South would have a colder Sunday too.

As it is the front is still to our North and the warm air allowing at least a pleasant 2/3 of the day. Wouldn’t be surprised if somewhere along the South coast manages 21c by 13.00 before cooling off.

Not looking forward to the strong winds this week. It just strips the trees of their leaves.
