Well some chances of snow in the northern parts of the region, the HIRLAM 12z seems to pretty much follow the MO warning area, as I posted in the MOD:

Would likely be for many, the only snow we see this winter, given the season ends on Saturday, the extent to which any snow settles is very uncertain though, just have to wait and see now.

Sadly the 18z has seriously downgraded the snow chances

Heavy sleet here in Yate. Some nice big flakes amongst the rain. If only it was a touch colder! Edit. Now turned to snow!

Morning all, woke up to snow falling and it's still snowing and beginning to settle. There's a definite white tinge to everything here

Not enough to make a snowman but I reckon if I scooped up every flake off the lawn I might get enough for a snowball.

Drove to Birmingham this morning from Swindon. Had just started snowing in Swindon when I left the house at 6:30.

Drove past Birdlip which had a covering and the snow was quite heavy at the top but as soon as I got onto the M5 it was Rain almost all the way to Birmingham apart from by junction 4 of the m5.

Pic of Birdlip attached!

Still trying it's best today to reach the double digits, with a peak of 9.7°C at: 13:18...maybe just maybe one last burst to push it over....

And yes we made it 10.1°C at: 13:27
