Down to 3.4°C with a dew point of 2.5°C I wonder whether this next line coming in will fall wintry over the hills?

Something of a frozen slushy deposit on the car roofs, that’s as exciting as it’s got.  Except for the fact we will surely get some sunshine today!

Good morning, it’s a cold start but at least it’s looking light a bright start to the day.

1.0°C after a low of 0.5°C at 05:56

Morning all, a dusting of snow here, now frozen solid with black ice on the roads. Looks pretty  lethal under foot!

So UK snow is trending on twitter, likelihood of it snowing in Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire?

The snow is mostly in the north and mostly over the hills. There could be some wintriness in those areas, especially over the Cotswolds/Chilterns etc. You can check a local forecast here:

We woke up to a tiny dusting of flakes first thing this morning - but it won't last.

Mother told me she was caught up in a few flurries on the way to work at 5:30 this morn

 Good morning all ,

Had a couple of flakes of snow overnight here in Frome but not much .   However ,  when I took my son to school there was some cars turning up completely covered about a centimetre on them .  And they look like areas on the radar that received it wells Shelton mere directions.  It was literally only 5 to 7 miles away from us  on its leading edge .

Still nice to see just a few flakes deposited on the cars though.

There was some incredible iced leaf patterns on the car as well  which match the glazing of the front door near enough lol.

And I may have been imagining it but Cley Hill marginally whiter on top...

Bit of a mix out on Bedminster Down in Bristol. Rain, sleet, hail & graupel coming down in short showers. Quite an interesting mix.

Skies have gone a bit darker now so expecting something further shortly.

Just heard thunder! gone very dark again as the shower comes over.

Not surprised. That one just passed me and was very squally. Heavy hail, a brief wet snow period and then lighter sleet. Temp down to 02.4C in its passing.
