Top drawer sun denial again! Clearance just after sunset yesterday, clear and starry most of the night, clear still at 08.00 then overcast since 08.30!

Just another dull day here, with the added bonus of some moderate rain for an hour or so. Looks like clearing fairly soon though. Might squeeze some sunlight in before sunset. Feeling colder too at just under 6C.

Is no-one else excited by the prospect of some wintriness in the next couple of days? I know we are not expecting the beast, but latest Euro 4 suggests temporary accumulation if nothing else for quite a few in the SW

Nope, wrong direction, not in the right place, and after today's soaking ground too wet / Oh and too warm....Plus the sea is a sniff away... So :nonono:

Well I'm keen at least... If I do see any snowfall it will be I think the 3rd time this winter, any settling will be the second (very brief event way back).

Whey, the sun is *finally* shining, with just half an hour until sun down.

It reached 8.2°C earlier, currently 5.4°C

Looking good for snow on dartmoor above 300 metres tonight and tomorrow. Usual suspects Princetown, warren house inn all in range. Of course getting up to the tops of the tors such as great mis tor and yes tor will reap dividends if snow is your thing. My neck of the woods seemingly just below the threshold for some lying snow. Expecting sleet with a bit of wet snow if we are lucky. Could be a one day winter wonder!

greatest risk overnight and tomorrow morning... back up to 12c by end of the week

Surely not! Apple app which tends to be more accurate at short range shows nothing.

Ah, the joy of living on the South coast, in an Atlantic dominated winter..

Meanwhile, over the last couple of hours the temperature has been slowly rising down here, only 0.6C but positive direction none the less..
