Aha, the wet stuff did return overnight as the ground was wet this morning and it has just rained here just now so not a dry day. Still breezy have to say. Currently 10.4°C, with the wind in from the WSW (243°) and running around 19mph..

The temperatures hardly moved at all here since 10am. Since then it's been hovering between 10.2°C and 10.4°C

NIce dry day yesterday, but blustery SSW 12-16mph winds with constant 25-32mph gusts all day.
A rain spell at 1am to 4am and continued SSW blustery wind through the night and this morning.
Sun is out now, 10.4c.

Windy overnight with a low of 8.2°C at 07:58... Still rather breezy although there has been plenty of sunny spells. Got up to 10.2°C earlier, it's currently 9.3°C

We have had a few brief showers over the past hour which have been enough to dampen the ground.

On Friday evening both weekend days were forecast to be dry with rain in the night. That’s on tv and various apps.

We had frequent drizzle and light rain yesterday then a number of blustery/sharp showers today! The only correct aspect of the forecast was rain last night!

Mostly dry with sunny spells but did have a couple of light showers this afternoon. Reached 11.8°C, currently 8.5°C

Plenty of clear blue skies this morning with some low cloud having a red tinge.
SSW wind 4-8 mph this morning.
Not looking forward to the wet and windy next few days. Forecasts have us for 40-45 mph wind gusts tonight and 50-55 mph on Tuesday afternoon and night.

Some heavy rain overnight has now cleared, and already Brendon is making his presence felt as the wind speed increases, along with an noticeable falling pressure which has been almost 1mb/hr drop in the last hour..

It's not too bad here at the moment it's even got a bit of brightness after some rain earlier.

I guess being in the north of our area Brendon will make its presence felt later than folks who are located on the coast.

I concur. My outdoor plans for both mornings were totally scuppered when 'bright and breezy' forecasts failed to identify unforecasted rain.

Lo and behold, this morning's nowcast of 'fine and calm' and afternoon rain arriving between 2 & 3pm is in total contrast to the reality of persistent downpours, so that everything is drenched well ahead of when the rain was supposed to start, leading to a third abortive outdoors morning in a row.

In my opinion, there are too many hands employed scouring the long range charts for the next Sudden Stratospheric Warming instead of placing enough emphasis on the accuracy of the immediate forecasts so that people can make outdoor plans that they can actually carry out.

It's windy, but nothing out of the ordinary yet. The current Met Office wind forecasts are quite a way out here.

Very windy here, increased in strength in the last couple of hours, rain imminent somewhere around half an hour max?  West Bay webcam is making me feel giddy!
