Moderate and heavy rain eventually stopped early last evening. Remaining cloudy overnight. Dawning overcast damp underfoot. Showers scattered around. The morning saw bright and sunny spells, the afternoon more cloudy again with showers in the area.

A cloudy night with hill fog and  periods of light-moderate rain. The rain gave way to drizzle by dawn and  by 0800 it was dry though still foggy. The fog has lifted in the last 15 minutes.
