Yesterday evening's wet snow moved away to the north by 1930, the temperature rose a couple of degrees and the thin layer of lying snow quickly thawed. The rest of the night was cloudy with a few showers and no change so far this  morning.

Moderate and heavy rain eventually stopped early last evening. Remaining cloudy overnight. Dawning overcast damp underfoot. Showers scattered around. The morning saw bright and sunny spells, the afternoon more cloudy again with showers in the area.

Clear spells for a time last evening, just missing a ground frost here. Cloud increased well before midnight. Light to moderate rain set in before dawn. Overcast this morning light to moderate rain. The rain turned moderate to heavy and continuous after morning readings, accompanied by a falling temperature, dropping to 3.2c by afternoon and continued heavy rain. Windy, strong from the NE.
