Weather and Flood warnings popping up again to start the week and for Thursday. Chilly winds with frost and even some snow for the hills. The rain just keeps on coming.

Everyone must feel so sorry for those affected by the floods. Bad enough having a little leak in your house. Let alone a major swamping. 

Headlines (who believes headlines?) say it is the worse flooding for a 100 years. So what happened with the weather  a 100 years ago?

That headline is true; I live not far away. The question that needs asking is why, when flood levels higher up the Don only exceeded the 2007 levels by a realatively small amount why is Fishlake, that did not flood in 2007, so badly affected now.
