Clear sky's above me with thick fog down in the valleys with a widespread frost currently -3c

Mainly clear overnight, widespread frost forming. Thick freezing fog developing before dawn. Visibility <50 yards. Fog thinning to mist by observation, high level cloud increasing quickly. Frost still on the ground.

Further intermittent light rain and drizzle last night. The early hours saw more continuous and moderate rain, this clearing away before dawn. Bright spells this morning and in to early afternoon. Cloud increasing before mid afternoon with some showery rain. Turning clear by early evening.

A dry and mainly clear night with fog patches developing in the valleys. Cloud has increased quickly since sunrise and it's been cloudy since 0830.

Freezing fog early morning lifted to low cloud. Rain, often heavy, from midday onwards. Unusually cold for early November with temperatures hardly above 5 deg C for much of the day. Maximum 6.7, minimum -0.6. Wind light NE.

Must of the the coldest day for the first half of november since either 1985 or 1980 yesterday made 2.8c coldest for that tme period I noted.
