A very wet cold dark day with moderate to heavy rain during the morning. In the afternoon hail was also observed in the heavier bursts. Eased towards the end of the afternoon for a while. Local flooding due to blocked drains and a few rivers will also beginning to have minor flooding at the moment. If the rain gets worse again this could turn into something nasty.

Max temp 6.6C, now 6.1C, Barometer 993mb rising slowly, Wind F3 ENE, Rainfall since midnight 53.4mm
