Severe weather already over Italy, Greece and central Mediterranean could continue as a potential Medicane -. A tropical-like cyclone likely to bring more flooding and storms to eastern Med.

Yes I am watching developments as I an in Greece currently. It looks like northern Greece (where I am) is likely to be unaffected but certainly the potential for flash floods for the west and south.

Heres a webcam looking at Turtle island.

If that red line track above is correct, the fifth red circle  is practically over this cam.

More Greek cams here but I need Karyo to read the language so that I can highlight the applicable one's.

The Met office infra red image of the storm shows it still throwing up towers even though it's been dark for hours!

You can pay the German Met. to buy and name, Highs cost more than lows (maybe as they can exist for longer)

The cams that contain Attikis are applicable for tomorrow as they are in Athens area.

Ithaca 1, 2 and 3 as this is in the Ionian sea

Also try typing kefalonia on skyline Webcam's for today's action

The uneventful weather follows me wherever I go. I am in northern Greece (kavala) where it is going to be dry and sunny while the west and south gets all the action.

Typical Karyo.

Adopting the Kavala attitude.

I was due to be on Zakynthos now. Knowing the island, expect flooding towards the south side from Kalamaki to Keri, along with flooding due from mountain ranges into Alykes/Gerkas.

I've been on the island through fires and earthquakes but never a medicane!

Unsurprisingly my friends in Alykes on Zakynthos are sharing photos showing the roads around the old salt pans are getting flooded. Whilst Alykes is low down by the sea, during the floods in the winter of 2017/2018 it did come up into businesses on the front.

This attached is towards the back of the salt pans and slightly higher up so I can only hope the main road from Alykes to Alyankas is still clear - the bridge there a very low indeed.
