Rain off and on since around 03:30 some heavy bursts at times giving 5.0mm of rain up to 6am when it stopped

Currently cloudy and reasonably calm with a few spots of rain in the air again

A spell of moderate rain yesterday evening but once this had cleared the night was mainly dry, mild and cloudy. Further intermittent light to moderate rain arrived around 0600 g.m.t but hasn't amounted to much.

Actually a better day than forecast as the rain was showery mostly and the heavier bursts fairly short. Turned light and showery by midday then died quickly away to sunny spells.
