Clear spells overnight, cold for early October, widespread ground frost developing. High and medium level cloud increased before dawn. Frost lifting this morning, mainly cloud, a few watery glimpses of the sun.

Cloud breaking overnight, turning quite chilly with ground frost forming through the early hours. Bright with sunny spells this morning, feeling cold. A good deal of sunshine throughout, though remaining chilly for October, though feeling pleasant enough in the sun and out of the moderate westerly wind.
