The wave which dropped off of Africa has been declared TD13. The track is classic of an early forming wave showing it rounding the Azores High over the next two weeks. Shear for the next 4 days is forecast to be close to zero and the NHC brings it close to Major Hurricane Strength.

In terms of impact nothing but a little rain for Cape Verde however it may be in the region of the Azores in a week or so.

TD13 became TS Lorenzo and has in turn become a hurricane.
