Gotta say this squall line that's going through is packing some serious punch

Looks like snow in June surely not? Evaporative cooling maybe.

Certainly looks like wet snow to me!

I live only around 4 miles from there, and I'm sure it wasn't snow.

Got back home from Morrisons just as the first drops of rain were hitting my car, got my supply of chocolate but not many cheap dates left, best ones all gone.

Turned very dark towards the Thames and I thought here we go, I'm right in the centre of the main clump of PPN moving down from North London. Heaviest rain in a long time, probably since April, had no rainfall in the whole of May..... bit of pop, bang, crack, not as much as I was expecting though.

Can't have been snow, temps around Norfolk were around 10c as the shower went though. Looks like it a bit though on the video.

From the protests in London, I think social distancing has gone pear shaped and is over already.

Best daytime storm for a few years, I didn't get any footage because I always feel that when I film a storm than I actually miss out on the moment itself.

Had rain all afternoon, but it's so light, the only way you can tell, is going out side and feeling the drops on your skin. The ground is bone dry.

Nice Shower followed by rainbow which was very unusual I know it sounds silly but it had very narrow bands of the same colour underneath thicker bands something I’ve never witnessed before  ( Picture doesn’t show this properly ). Now we have the squall moving through which is quite impressive.

What makes me laugh, temp currently a cold 9.3°C, we always chase the heat and humidity for storms and well today shows maybe we should take another approach!

Got soaked just now, drain was blocked with leaves and rose petals, was flooding into my garage so had to clear it. Not checked on my veg yet for any rain/storm damage, my poor zucchini plants, they were probably thinking to themselves, so this is what rain feels like is it?..... ouch that hurts go away!

It was all a big change today for the little fella's, they have only ever seen water gently flowing out of my watering can up to now in their short existence.

This seems to be typical early June weather. I remember bringing my daughter home after she was born early June and we were in jumpers and freezing and worried about keeping her warm (as new parents do). Within 2 weeks it was mid 30’s for my dads birthday party and we were worried about keeping her cool ( which I quickly found out was much more difficult)
