Another lovely day but at a point I got too warm in the garden, it was first time I truly felt the heat of the sun, summer is coming. Signs in last week however Nina may be developing faster than anticipated, which may put July-August into doubt?

I don't know why but the sun is in the perfect spot in line with the chemtrail, makes it look like a huge meteor shooting across the sky! Lol

Looking wonderful today with lovely warm temps right across the Region. I'm having a 'lockdown compliant' VE Day get-together with my next door neighbours at 16.00, with them on their front lawn and me and Mrs Blessed on our front lawn, raising a glass or three from a responsible social distance. But I'm very aware that not everyone's circumstances will allow them to do similar, so my thoughts are also with them.

Although I should escape them here in east Suffolk, I see the slight chance of a thunderstorm elsewhere later this pm:

Strikes me we don't get poor bank holidays in the spring and summer anymore...trying to think of the last poor one. Another sunny day but with the chance of some T-storms for a few going by Blessed Weathers above post.

Happy VE Day everybody...'we'll meet again don't know where don't know when but I'm sure we'll meet again some sunny daayyy'

Already 20 degrees across parts of the London and the SE, shame about the cloud though! Looks like it could clear up a bit in an hour or two.

Remember that UV levels are high☀️

Some big clouds amassing here, sunlight has dropped and feels rather muggy, wonder if a storm maybe coming later, certainly feels like something is building.

The cloud has mostly cleared from the SE leaving a lovely end to the day.

23°C in London and Cambridge and feeling a bit more humid in some spots. ☀️

A warm 23.6C and sunny apart from odd cumulus getting towards that time of year when higher temps such as this aren’t hard to achieve. It is a shame as this time of year every year, we stay on the south coast it is often one of most pleasant breaks, maybe by summer perhaps later in summer opportunity to do so will arise. Being stuck in London is not great for my mental health helps living in a leafy part of inner London but it is not the same. I need some fresh country air & salty sea air down me, although I’m not working at least for now.

22c in my garden, and a dew point of 6c. Not a cloud in the sky. Perfect weather. Even warmer tomorrow, before the brief plunge into the depths of winter on Sunday and Monday.

The clouds burned away but looking at the radar some showers breaking out to the north of the region now. Nice 22c and a gentle breeze, perfect, any hotter and I don’t like it, could stay like this all summer and I’d be happy.

My neighbours started at 3pm and finished at 10pm, the street looked like a very suburban festival for a while! Some sore heads this morning I suspect.

Loving this warmth and sunshine in the garden. Popped to Surbiton earlier, everywhere seemed very busy with people and cars. There have been some fabulous contrails to enjoy in the evenings; plenty of flights overhead in the blue skies.
