Another beautiful sunny day.☀️

Remember to get outside into nature if you can - there's nothing wrong with it as long as you're alone and avoiding crowds. It will do wonders for your mental wellbeing in these stressful times.

Indeed fully support your statement. Just been for a walk myself, I was feeling rather rattled and cabin fever-esque, now a lot calmer and bright in mood

Just prepared the garden  before the snow comes

probably will get the snow now. We had a frost this morning.

TBH I don't want it to snow.

Great  spell of weather we are having, shame nobody is allowed out to enjoy it. Makes you appreciate having a garden or balcony even more.

You are allowed to go out once a day for a walk/run/cycle, if you’re not in the vulnerable groups. If you have your own outside space, you can be in it as much as you like. Just avoid areas with many people. Some trains are still crowded this morning

A pic from my one walk today, what a blessing to have good weather! Incidentally I have a theory that the government are tracking our whereabouts with our phones, shortly after my walk I received a text from the government saying stay a home. My husband says he has had two or theee, and he has been out and about delivering food parcels from the food bank. I’m no conspiracy theorist however it’s might funny he had more and he was travelling about, whilst I did not receive one until Imelda the house for my exercise today...!!!

As you may have heard, the government are allowing the allotments to stay open as part of exercise allowance, so we've been up there, working on laptops and digging potato trenches!  Lots of rules and social distancing but  for many people an allotment is their only outdoor space (including us) so having them remain open is a great mental health boost in these scary times. Have to say it was lovely weather, just what we needed after weeks of uncertainty and fear and being around too many people. Shame it may gets colder but that's the ups and downs of Spring!

Beautiful start here.

Clear blue skies. Very much needed after months of heavy rainfall & floods.

Can’t wait for summer

It’s been super sunshine all week hasn’t it? I don’t about how things are up where you are , but I have discovered on my daily allowed walk that the footpaths and fields are drying out nicely and have come back with my trail shoes relatively mud free!

It’s great that allotments are still open, must help reduce anxiety and stress at the moment. Plus you can grow lots of nice produce and avoid the shops Good to have some dry, sunny weather for a change. Hope you are all ok ??

I Abdool love this nice weather. It gives me a chance to be able to get my kids out. Three of my children have asthma and one of them has bad respiratory problems. She’s under the care of the Evelina  hospital in London.  We have been going for walks along the river bank and up the sea. I live in Rye Harbour and it’s always packed full of people walking their dogs and enjoying the sea so it’s very odd.  I’m not sure if I like the idea of cold weather now to be honest. It should be getting warmer not colder.

With the lack of contrails I wonder how this will affect our weather going into summer?

How is everyone? I hope that you are all well and not too anxious with the situation.

It’s a beautiful day here in Prague, sunny and 17°C. Feels very springlike, I’ve been sowing vegetable and flower seeds and enjoying being outside.

Still trying to order my Mum some shopping online (UK) but it’s ridiculously busy, no delivery slots available anywhere. Wonder if all the hoarders are panic buying online, too? Opposite situation here, supermarkets are fully stocked, anyone need any loo roll

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall. It doesn't rain very often here like other desert areas, but like the deadly floods in Libya last year showed, these rain events are likely becoming more extreme due to global warming.
