Looks like flooding could be an issue.. Again over the next few days.. Some places in Wales have been flooded twice in 1 week...

Dunstable got a good snow cover but melted in the afternoon. Hills around the area did ok. I drove to the highest point in the Chiltrens to have my snow fix. Some photos from Wendover Wood this mornin

Nice bit of snow here this morning, so that means it won’t go down as one of the worst winters I can remember but only by the skin of its teeth . Photos below ?

Shower cloud lit up nicely by the low sun earlier this evening north of Heathrow where I work.

Well my forecast was a bust! I went for cold rain here and we've ended up with just rain (without the cold bit) haha!

RIP winter 19/20, bring on summer! First winter I've lived through where I've seen no snow at all (not even sleet).

Had snowflakes at 1.6c at 430

Now 2.1c & heavy rain.

Thats what happens with a channel low in modified westerly sourced air > the airs not dry enough ( or low enough dewpoint )

It was all rain at almost 200m near blue bell hill. Drove to work and odd bit of sleet at sea level in Canary Wharf

Morning Ben,

Great to see that you've got the slightest of dustings. Can I use your photographic evidence, for my Weather predicting Competition, over on the Winter Discussion Forum?

Regards,

Tom.   :hi:
