Rains pepped up here and feeling very humid,would not be suprised to hear a rumble of thunder. Temp currently at 16.6c.

Meridian forecast showers some with thunder for tomorrow, although most seem to build north of our region, London northwards looked best on their graphics, which obviously might be wrong.

After non stop rain yesterday, started relatively dry with some brightness, now looks like some heavy showers coming through this afternoon. Need a few dry days to allow the rain to drain away off the fields and some warm (not hot) weather now.

Well the day started nice then it clouded over with cumulus and that was a wrap, coolest day of July so far not reached 19C that's more than 4.4C below average July high.

What a lovely day today has been: dry and bright this morning, and a nice thunderstorm around two o'clock. And, after 40mm of rain having fallen since Tuesday, the ground was ideal for weeding...

The BBC app forecast was for 'light rain showers and sunny intervals'!:oldlaugh:

Not a bad day here so far,shade temps not that high at 16.8c at the moment but plenty warm enough in the sun.

After a very forgettable weather week this weekend is looking great. Beautiful start to the day, not a cloud in the sky. Looks like a reasonable spell of weather coming up too.

Yes, it's been a largely wet, gloomy past week which started on Tues and saw rainfall for many in the Region every day. Whilst the farmers, allotment holders and gardeners (me included) were happy to see the rain, it's great to now be looking forward to some dry and pleasantly warm days coming up this weekend and into next week. :oldsmile:

Another decent day with temps a bit higher than yesterday here at 17.2c, tomorrow should be warmer, great growing weather at the moment.

Those conditions gave widespread cloud cover around the middle of the day, but some wonderful cloudscapes later in the afternoon here in South Suffolk Matt.

As you say, hopefully less cloud today, particularly as I'm taking Mrs Blessed to the beer garden of our local pub for a drink this afternoon. I'm very impressed with the set-up there. Temperature taken on arrival; compulsory hand gel; one-way system; escorted to your chosen table (which can be reserved if you wish to eat); table service only with all staff wearing a mask; contactless payment only; table and chairs sprayed and cleaned when vacated.

Went to Brockhill yesterday and besides the screaming kids it was pretty nice, took 2 pics whilst there

A Jolly good start too the day with warm sunshine, but now a dirty great U.F.O. Cloud blotting out all the sun and its not moving. As there is no wind whatsoever. Very weird.

Much better today, the chill that existed yesterday is gone and a lot less cloud today as well. Up to 21c at the moment so not bad at all.

A very nice day indeed, from a low 8.6c to a current temp of 22.6c with plenty of sun and a gentle breeze. For me this is perfect and not to humid either.

Best day of July by far I even have fan out I wouldn’t usually at this temp 23C but last two weeks have not been that warm. Summer seems to be back.
