Hopefully we get some more rain tonight, it would be nice to get some with barely any over the past four weeks and another dry week coming.

After a 4 month wash out and floods.

A true Brit right there because it hasn’t rained in 4 weeks

Would rain bother you even If it fell overnight while you’re indoors?

Now this looks scarily like its and organised band of storms

Just been keeping an eye on the radar some very bright echoes now just heading up from the channel. Anyone near Brighton might be seeing some activity soon, only if these are storm clusters.  London could be a direct hit later. But as we know from past experiences it may not come to anything except rain but this cluster does certainly look menacing on the radar.

regards

Hardly a drop of rain in the end here today (N London).

Weather seems a bit mundane lately, where are the April showers?  ⛈️

Frequent distant rumbles of thunder coming up from the channel, sounds like it's getting closer, yay!

Pitter pattering with rain too.

This is moving very slowly.  The real show will be after 1am. I have a feeling there will be some home grown storms and definitely even if heavy rain only will move  steadily nothing east over london and the south east

Just a few sporadic flashes of lightning and very distant rumbles of thunder here in St Leonards on Sea so far this evening but some welcome rain falling now.

Had a smattering of rain here overnight, but nothing like the persistent rain the forecast showed.

Hi everyone, hope that you’re all safe and well

Been a belter of a week weather wise here in Prague, barely a cloud until later this afternoon, when things quite quickly began to feel a bit stormy. Some dramatic skies before sunset led to a 20 minute heavy shower.

Hit the dizzy heights of 1mm of rain for this month after yesterday's deluge...amazing how it's gone from chucking it down most days for months to almost bone dry the last month, will be interesting to see if we get a repeat of 2018.

Hi All, sorry for delay in posting. We had an epic Thunderstorm with a surprising amount of lightning and very loud close thunder on Friday night. Started around 10.45pm.

With a superb amount of rain, which was very welcome, filled the water butts right up.

The garden looks nice and green now. What a very early start to the thunderstorm season that was. Thought we would miss it all as a very keen East wind made it feel cold in the late evening.

Back to Super Sunny skies today and feeling warm . Good Health to you all. Stay Safe.

Nice and sunny today, but a strong easterly wind, keeping it feeling quite chilly.
