The sun is back. Blue skies and the temps rising. Yesterday was like mid winter the temp never got above 6C. All day. We have have already reached 10C. Here this morning. It feels warm as there is no wind. We need more of this sunshine. Good health to you all. Have a super Friday.

I was thinking if we end up with no laying snow this year, which is looking increasingly likely, it will be first time I think I ever recall me having a year without it.

What a difference a day makes!

Beautiful out there after the relentless rain and flooding of yesterday. Not a breath of wind and lovely blue skies. 9c but feels warmer.

There's still a chance for the rest of this month and even early April, I remember early April 2008 seeing lying snow via a northerly when I used to live in Tunbridge Wells, that followed a mild and pretty snowless winter.

What a difference a day makes! 36.4mm of rain was recorded yesterday at Herstmonceux, and now it’s a pleasant spring day, at 11c. (Great day to test out my dad’s nice camera!)

Eastbourne in the distance? I do miss my home town at times

Anyway quite a pleasant evening, been to the out door store to get bubs kitted out for her Adventure school sleep over and I got a fleece lined water proof coat. We all know what that means.

Yep used to go to the harvester quite a few times in the summer, although it looks more built up since i lived there. Used to be a restaurant on an old boat too. Very relaxing place to sit and eat.

I'm pretty certain on clear days in EB my Dad said you could see Dungeness. Now that area has a completely different feel to it.

Hi Dami

You can see the Dungeness power station  buildings quite well on a clear day from the Folkestone direction too. When the sun is rising in the summer they stand out well, as they are heavily shadowed in one side and brightly lit the other.

Sunny here again this morning. Currently 5.5c after a low of -1.2c.
