Heavy snow and settling in St Neots. The most pathetic winter ever is giving it a go.

Same here in Cambridge - the one thing I didn’t expect to see this winter!

Looks like the Met Office were spot on with their forecast of any snow to the N of London.

Snow properly coming down now in North London, however it’s pretty wet and nothing is settling.

Now Sleet , rain and the odd snowflake.... very light precip which I assume is the issue ......any intensity would turn it ....hovering around 0/1c

Got a couple of cm up here blue but can already see the 1st signs of melt...

As Steve mentioned above, this Atlantic modified air isn't going to cut the mustard for the majority.

We need the colder and drier continental stuff...

Hopefully a huge Scandy anticyclone on the menu come December..

Heavier precip arrived and now it’s just beginning to stick on the grass

Nice to see, its slim pickings for what we want though.

We want a frigid Europe come November and a big 1060 MB scandy high in place for December..

One can dream lol.

Yes, surprised how heavy the snow is here in Chingford Dan.

But, as you say, nothing settling!

Heavy snow in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk now.

Surprisingly settling on most surfaces too, besides roads.

Sleety snow in Fleet: that is, essentially sleet but with a dusting of light, fluffy flakes mingled amongst it.

Edit: Now it's snowy snow
