Good afternoon Folks. Breezy day but sunny.

7.9c Wind Chill 5.2c. Humidity 63% Rh.

In The wrong place. Remembering days in Billericay and Shoeburyness. .The price of getting on in age.

Pouring down here at +3c

Spoke to local farmer on the dog walk this morning, desperate for a long dry spell like me it seems.

Robbed! Looking at the radar earlier and with a temp of 4C I thought I might see a wet snowflake in due course. But - poof - the green echo disappeared just before reaching me. Lol.

I was under some green, at a pinch maybe the rain hitting the window could of been icy, but it wasn't sleeting.

I was under green when it turned very heavy for a short time but not one flake mixed in. Dewpoints rose quickly here from 0.5 - 1°c to about 3°c and air temps of 3-6°c which explains why it remained as rain here and indeed for most.

That green point was so sudden.... sat eating breakfast at The Pheasant in Buckland on the A25..., beautiful sunshine then in about 1mn ferocious winds and squally rain..., probably something sleety but the breakfast was too good to ignite I’m afraid

Driving along the A20 from Dover to Folkestone around lunchtime, it was 9.5c when we left Dover - halfway between it started pouring and within a couple of minutes the ice warning came on as the temp dropped to 4c!

Last night at 11pm, it was raining heavily and at times it sounded it was a heavy noisy hail shower but when I looked there was no sign of hail.  It seemed to have lasted until the early hours of the morning.

It is 10:21 am and the temperature is 8.1°C.  The humidity is at 70%. The barometric pressure is rising.  Today's barometric pressure reading is 993.5.

Just had a heavy hail shower. It has actually now transitioned to something of a more sleety nature...

Its been raining here for a while now, its just started to hail and now we have had a massive rumble of thunder.  Its so grey and dark we have had to turn the lights on. Im so fed up with this weather now. Its been an awful autumn/winter so far.

Really interesting!?!...rain, wind? unless we're getting gales or stronger in my opinion it's not interesting.

You seem to advice us every other day that the radar is saying this that or the other...wake me up when something actually happens! (sorry turning into a meteorological Victor Meldrew but that's what our winters do to us).

Rain started here again this evening.

What I’d do for this chart to verify, probably a 5% chance but a 5% chance more than any snow or cold to replace this mind numbing boring rain.
