Ammonia dispersion models

When agents apply for intensive farming applications (such as poultry), they provide ammonia dispersion models which are theoretical and statistical, and we would like to find out how accurate these models are in correctly predicting the dispersion of substances such as ammonia from high speed fans located on top of sheds that houses livestock? 

 

Does anyone have any reliable information on the accuracy of ammonia dispersion models?

As a semi-related follow up question to this, is there a cost effective way to analyse ammonia levels in the air.

I've not been able to find anything that suitably explains the accuracy of ammonia dispersion models which I was hoping that someone here could point us in the right direction.
