Clear and sunny throughout and rather hot. The maximum of 30.2C was the warmest in August here since 2001, 3rd warmest since my records began in 1980 and made it the first time two summer months have hit 30C in one calendar year. It was also the latest date in the calendar year I've recorded >30C (or indeed >28.0C).

Max Temp: 30.2C
Min Temp: 13.6C
Mean Wind: 13mph SE
Max Gust: 17mph
Rainfall: None
Sunshine: 13.9hrs

Currently clear with haze in the distance with a temp of 21.3C.
