Variable cloud producing a few showers overnight. mainly cloudy this morning, a little intermittent drizzle here, showers in the vicinity, windy. Moderate showery rain around the area through the morning and in to early afternoon, though this station only caught further light drizzle. Sunny spells developed mid afternoon, though very windy for early August. The rest of the afternoon and in to the evening continued much the same, this station avoiding the showers.

Yesterday: dry with sunny intervals after early morning showers. Unusually windy for August. Maximum 21.7, minimum 16.8. Wind fresh to strong SW with gusts to gale force in the morning.
