A warm and mainly cloudy night with a light shower during the early hours, other than that it was dry. Warm and dry with sunny intervals so far this morning.

At 0800 g.m.t

Clear spells overnight, hazy sunny spells, high and mid level cloud increasing.

 

24-hour maximum 23.9c

24-hour minimum 15.4c

Minimum temperature on grass 12.9c.

Maximum wind gust: (Midnight to Midnight) 9.7mph ESE

Rainfall total: 1.2mm

 

Conditions at 09:00 GMT

 

6 Oktas  Cirrostratus, Altocumulus,Cumulus humilis.

Visibility  >10 miles

Temperature: 20.1c

Humidity: 85.1%

Wind Direction: S Force 2

Barometer 1009.5mb falling.

 

Yesterday.

 

Clear spells overnight. Hazy sunshine this morning. Turning warm in continued hazy sunny spells. The afternoon saw thicker cloud hiding the sun by mid afternoon. The evening mainly cloudy with a couple of brief moderate showers.

Most models had them breaking out into the evening, PIT. We shall see! Looking at the radar there are showers waking up north of Hereford.

A dry and warm day with sunny intervals, until just after 1700 g.m.t when there was a couple of minutes of heavy rain accompanied by one flash of lightning and a crack of thunder. A more significant storm moved north about 10 miles east of here between 1620 and 1750 g.m.t.

A couple of storms E and W of here over the past hour, no major lightning and just 1.8 mm of rain so far, T=19.3 and Td=17 with a max of 26.2 C
