A cloudy night with showers merging into lengthy spells of moderate, occasionally heavy, rain. One rumble of thunder to the east at 2230 g.m.t. The showers have become lighter since dawn but it's still overcast.

More heavy rain through the early hours, this eventually stopping around  05:00 GMT. Cloudy this morning, damp underfoot.

Yesterday.

 

Variable cloud overnight, odd light shower. Bright and hazy sunny spells this morning, cloud increasing quickly towards observation. Heavy showers broke out over the area around noon, a few of these turned briefly torrential around mid afternoon. Further outbreaks of heavy rain well in to the evening.

Another extremely wet day with 20mm falling after the 25mm yesterday, as well as big rain days on 19th, 27th, 28th (yet another inch). No thunder heard however, the showers weren't quite as aggressive today as yesterday. High was 20.3°C only in the morning however.
