I swear I must be so unlucky...looks like Silverdale is going to get a direct hit near Carnforth but now I'm back in Lincoln. Last week storms were just a few miles East to us. Can't win lol

 My towel is getting ready

I am as well, feel as though the storm that erupted over north Cheshire and moved northwards over central Lancashire has taken the energy out of the atmosphere but will see.

Sun is back out strong but I think wind is on-shore now so might be too late.

We are in the gap as per normal. Warmest part of the day right now.

That Northampton cell looks to keep on pepping up. A bit of NE’wards propagation with this cell too, and an increasing SE wind. Should make for good inflow!

Cell erupted SW of Glossop now. Assume you'll easily see/hear it 🙂

No, it was west of Glossop and so I was nowhere near it.

Seems like storms are avoiding the Peak District rather than concentrating on it. I have now headed east and am situated near to Penistone.

I’m too far west and this on-shore wind isn’t helping. Towel in hand again.

I threw the towel in awhile back. Every radar echo approaching my area has died out rather than intensified.
