Just got back to Northants and heard a rumble when getting out of the car, disnt expect a storm down here.

 

Spotted a hurricane and coming back from some show and he has had two attempts at getting round the storms x 2

I swear I must be so unlucky...looks like Silverdale is going to get a direct hit near Carnforth but now I'm back in Lincoln. Last week storms were just a few miles East to us. Can't win lol

 Sun is back out strong but I think wind is on-shore now so might be too late.

Beginning to go dark to the SW. 

a nice little storm looks to have gone up near Northampton and looks to be back building.

Sferics kicking off in the midlands now,good,because i was ready for throwing the towel in too,but i was going to decide on chasing that Northampton cell/cells.

That Northampton cell looks to keep on pepping up. A bit of NE’wards propagation with this cell too, and an increasing SE wind. Should make for good inflow!

No, it was west of Glossop and so I was nowhere near it.

Seems like storms are avoiding the Peak District rather than concentrating on it. I have now headed east and am situated near to Penistone.

 I’m too far west and this on-shore wind isn’t helping. Towel in hand again.
