Keeping an eye on this lot, might be one last chance in getting something, can see a few flashes from the storm near Scunthorpe. Hull could be in for a good one

Yes me epic rain and CG lightening

I'm hoping it keeps tracking the way it is, kinda looks like it's heading towards Lincoln. Just hope it doesn't die down

Very ominous looking clouds here towering over from the south. Humidity is shooting up and distant thunder is getting closer.

Could be a direct hit this one in West Hull!

Am I right in thinking this is the track of the storm near Sleaford? Can't tell if it's dying down or not. Looks like some heavy rainfall in there

The wind has just changed direction from east to south, so that should mean they don't die off.

Its just started raining here but it's eerily quiet at the moment.

We are seeing quite a bit of lightning to my east. The lightning on that western cell seems to be dying off for the moment. A lot going on though as that line of precipitation to the west is really firing up and there are storms to the south too.

However I think the main fun and games won't be in the skies overhead.... we shall see.

What on Earth is that empty hole of convection around Scunthorpe/Brigg? Very strange indeed.

Wow! I've heard on weather programs that it sounds like a bowling ally, and that REALLY does!  Used to work in a shop next to a 'Megabowl' the back of the ally's (where the machines were) shared a wall with our storage area, and that's exactly what it sounded like after closing for the night and you could hear the noise from next door clear as day

Never heard of it before so it was a new one on me!

I don’t know but we’re in Brigg and have just had two waves of amazing storms! Lots of lightning and rain.

That storm to the east of Newark is now producing constant almost disco flashing lightening. Never seen anything like this for years. Thunder not to loud though, so storm probably 15 miles away from here?
