Same. Just like last Tuesday.

Pretty frequent rumbles to my SW now, all very elevated though, haven't seen a single flash

Now constant thunder and dark skies to SW, no lightning visible yet

Dark to our south west although radar has the showers to our south east.

Right towel has been well and truly chucked in. Nothing coming towards me in the next hour and after that winds will have veered too much at all levels; so another fail for me today. Oh well, at least I have had 8 thunder days this year.

Heard the odd rumble of thunder in the far distance, however the cell has intensified to the west and died to its east. Looks like Hull will miss this storm. Might be good for York in a bit (or to the east of York, my geography was a bit off there)

A ten second burst of heavy rain now stopped.

Oooh poor you - just the 8 days

Out of interest did you have to drive for at least an hour for any of these or did they come to you?

No idea if this is going to hit or not Thundery clouds to the east dissipated within minutes. Pulse style showers ???

Looks like it cleared north to me. Still there on the radar.

More to the south now.

@Flash bang flash bang etc  All of them came to me. Four of them were single rumble events though and only 1 was an overhead storm. Still 8 days is above average for me.

Regular Thunder but not seen one strike yet so must be a high level Thundery shower

Same here mate... Still, the way this summer has gone, I dare say there’ll be another chance before too much longer. ?️

Rain just easing here, had constant thunder for the last 15 mins, seen 5 or 6 flashes but the vast majority must be very elevated
