Just got back to Northants and heard a rumble when getting out of the car, disnt expect a storm down here.

Spotted a hurricane and coming back from some show and he has had two attempts at getting round the storms x 2

I swear I must be so unlucky...looks like Silverdale is going to get a direct hit near Carnforth but now I'm back in Lincoln. Last week storms were just a few miles East to us. Can't win lol

Sun is back out strong but I think wind is on-shore now so might be too late.

Looks like Met Office have updated their weather warning for parts of Lincolnshire

And also for Leicester and rutland obviously in response to developments that occurred within last hour to ninety minutes

We are in the gap as per normal. Warmest part of the day right now.

That Northampton cell looks to keep on pepping up. A bit of NE’wards propagation with this cell too, and an increasing SE wind. Should make for good inflow!

Cell erupted SW of Glossop now. Assume you'll easily see/hear it

No, it was west of Glossop and so I was nowhere near it.

Seems like storms are avoiding the Peak District rather than concentrating on it. I have now headed east and am situated near to Penistone.

I’m too far west and this on-shore wind isn’t helping. Towel in hand again.
