No chance of seeing the predicted 30 today at this rate, thankfully, and we still have the refreshing breeze. Quite a nice day really. Just a few warm days, not hot around these parts.

29.3°C reached now which is the same as 29th June, so equal hottest day of the year.

Tomorrow looks to be cloudy and a bit cooler, could be quite below the forecast depending on if we get convective detritus through much of the day. Prolly 23-25 degrees.

Foggy start, rare here in summer, then dry and hot with unbroken sunshine. Not as hot as 29 June, but at least one hotter day likely to come. Maximum 32.4, minimum 15.8. Wind light ESE.

30c inland nearby today. After early cloud quickly cleared, a largely sunny morning and afternoon.

More cloud edged in by around 6, with a fair amount of cloud generally since then.

Dry at the moment, but some thunderstorms look menacing for the next few hours.

It is still 24.4°C here in South Yorkshire at 22:50. That is pretty amazing.
