Yes, afraid this is a limitation of the gust data currently, the Met Office only supply it to 36 hours. They do plan to sort it and bring it into line with the rest of the data but I don't have an eta yet.

Does this model actually update at 00z, 06z etc, give or take an hour depending on daylight saving hours, or is it like the other models that update within a few hours of those times?

The 06z etc, are the times the models are initialised, so they'll always be available later. The UKV updates 8 times a day, and all runs but the 3z and 15z come through about 3.5 hours after the initialisation - so for example. the 6z is out between 0900 and 0930. The 3z and 15z run out to 120 hours rather than the 54 the others do, so they're a bit later and are generally about 5 hours after the initialisation.

I wonder when precipitation type will come out. I guess it will never come out.

This is what annoys a lot of people. You have to have patience with these kind of things. Asking constantly and then in the end going 'I guess it will never come out' helps absolutely no one. Be patient.

Precip type charts are in the viewer now (please note they aren't displaying correctly prior to the 09z run today - 26th November, but will be fine from now on).

0c Isotherm charts should be in for the 12z run as well.

There appears to be a bug in the UKV snow charts currently in that it's over-doing snow risks a bit - we're looking into it now and should get a fix in today, but in the meantime they've been taken out of the viewer.

Hi All,

Forgive me if it's obvious but which Extra Subscription includes the UKV Charts?
