There is still much energy over England and other parts of N.France still too early to rule anything however we can also not rule out a total bust of everything else

Exactly. Will be very happy to be wrong, but going to tear myself away from the radar now and go do something else.

Said later activity in the eml will though.

Meanwhile I think we could well be growing our own...

Yeah sorry I meant the ones right now - elevated stuff will slide across like a greased fish on Teflon wheels

Well here is something of interest.  It was literally just issued.   TOPS of FL420, that's pretty much on par with some of the stuff experienced in Central Africa and the Gulf.  Incredible!

Stregnth -  Intensifying

Moving NNE.

Dropped from 30.1 degrees down to 24.1 during that storm but now back up to 28.8 degrees.

Carlisle looks like it will be hammered in about a hour. As for us further east everything In place it's just a waiting game at the moment.

If that’s it then I will go to bed early. Liverpool TAF has the risk window ending at 19:00.

Thanks Joggs. I kinda suspected that would be the case... Not for any scientific reason, but because the storms on Tuesday night were so amazing and we just aint lucky enough to be treated to great storms twice in a year - let alone twice in a week!

Hope I'm wrong though lol.

Radar watch for a couple of hrs though👍

What physical or pressure height does that equate to?

Keep me posted!

I’m heading to Worthing now, then go from there.  And if it’s a bust it’s a bust. If not, happy days.

From what I've read on various forecasts the parameters for the storms to break out haven't arrived here yet so no panic YET

Feels tropical and steamy outside now after that  storm and rain. Sun very strong but dark clouds bubbling up to S and E

Are you following radar or this thread?  There's a cluster of active storms heading your way.
