There's been a weak-is storm over north-east Norfolk (northern Broads) and this is now over parts of North Norfolk.  I've heard thunder from here, south-west of Norwich, and Blitzortung has shown several sferics.

Norwich seems to be getting the best out of this breakdown in the past 24 hours by the looks of it

This latest one was just to the north-east and north of the city, though those within the ring road will have been well aware of it.  We have had an active few days in Norfolk, though!

Just started raining where I am, nothing showing on the radar though, but it has been looking like Zeus is about to have a throw down all day

I'm in Reading which seems to have a ban on rain today, rain moves towards us and without fail by the time it reaches here rain is off the radar, happened yesterday as well. Would be nice to get of something to get the humidity down a bit.

Bonus storms for the east coast but just humid with the odd spot of rain or sunny spell here. A very disappointing spell but could have been much worse if we hadn't had the weak storm in the early hours of Wednesday morning. A new record high was good as well.

So, the one that came up from the South did produce some good Lightning just off the coast. After it passed the sky was very dramatic.

Well well well...wasn’t expecting to see more AcCas in the sky today...however, I do...am in Hempstead Valley at the moment not my usual location.

Fingers crossed it suggests mid level instability is returning
