Remains of a storm passing to the east of me. Surprised it didn't maintain ant activity just to rub it in a bit.

It’s a beautiful morning here and so much cooler too. Lovely!

I can see the London storm looking menacing to the west but it’s just a bit too far to hear or see anything from

Lively thunderstorm now in SE London.

Decent forks and booming thunder

planes on a diverted path overhead.

Yep that’s passed me now, looking south west I can see an area of dark cloud so could be some more on the way, clouds appear to be moving in a NNW direction

They are, which begs the question has the cold front completely stalled to our West?

This weather was supposed to have cleared by 4am according to the warnings.

Must have stalled, in fact I haven’t had any thunder all night and I woke up at 8:30am hearing distant thunder, 4 and a half hours outside the warning so yeah something must have happened as more showers and storms seem to be forming to the south

Actually, looking at bbc’s Latest weather forecast it shows the cold front stopping right on the centre of the uk so that’s what has happened then it seems

There seems to be one cell after the other forming in Eastbourne area moving NNW, not sure if they all will die after they reach London but you never know

Also there is a line of stuff forming in the channel so maybe hope for people in the wider South East?

Yep, looks like a conveyor belt from northern france straight to london. Hope it continues. Will make up for all the storms that have missed me this year.

Kinda like a slowed down lightning bolt on a large scale: Making a path for the good stuff to follow through
